1. Preparation before installation

2. Installation process

2.1 Install the RF cable to the WiFi module (skip this step if there is no WiFi module)

Install 2Pcs RF cables to the IPEX4 on the WiFi module of LattePanda Sigma, as shown in Figure 1 (make sure to install them properly).

2.2 Install LattePanda Sigma into the bottom casing

Place the LattePanda Sigma in the bottom casing as shown in Figure 2 (pay attention to the interface direction as shown and do not press on the RF cables(If not installed, please ignore)). Then tighten 4Pcs M3×7 screws.

2.3 Secure the RF cables to the top casing(skip this step if there is no WiFi module)

Remove the 2Pcs SMA protective covers from the RF cables as shown in Figure 3. Install the gasket 1 as shown in Figure 4 and thread it through the reserved hole in the top casing as shown in Figure 5. Then install gasket 2 as shown in Figure 4 and tighten the nut securely.

2.4 Assemble the top casing, bottom casing, and bracket (optional) and tighten the screws to secure them in place

Push the top casing in the direction of the arrow in Figure 6 to align it with the bottom casing. Then , as indicated in Figure 7, tighten the 8Pcs M3×7 screws at the circular points to assemble the casing. Finally, as shown in Figure 8, tighten the 2Pcs M3×7 screws at the square points to assemble the bracket (optional).

2.5 Install the external antenna onto the RF cables (skip this step if there is no WiFi module)

Install the 2Pcs external antennas onto the 2Pcs RF cables with SMA connectors, as shown in Figure 9.

2.6 Stick the anti-slip strip to the bottom of the bracket (skip this step if the bracket is not installed)

Cut the 2Pcs anti-slip strips (12mm×60mm) according to the size and shape of the square in Figure 10. Peel off the release paper and stick them onto the square positions.

2.7 Install the expansion cards into the LattePanda Sigma

Remove the cover plates from the bottom casing as needed (remove as many as necessary). Then install the expansion cards, such as the one shown in Figure 12.
