The SRF01 Ultrasonic Rangefinder Sensor is a compact, single-transducer device that uses a TTL UART serial interface, compatible with controllers such as Basic Stamps and PICAXE. It offers a default baud rate of 9600, adjustable to 19200 or 38400, and allows up to 16 units to be connected on a single bus. The sensor measures distances ranging from 0 to 600 cm, providing readings in both centimeters and inches. Its standard and advanced modes, along with support for address changes, make it ideal for a variety of applications.

    • Specification

    The SRF01 accepts any voltage between 3.3v and 12v, however the recommended maximum is 5.5v. Internally, it operates at 3.3v and there is a low dropout regulator already on the SRF01 to provide this. The serial I/O pin operates at 3.3v and also 5v tolerant, so you can connect it directly to 3.3v or 5v signals.
