The DFRobot 3D Gesture Sensor is an interactive sensor that integrates 3D gesture recognition and motion tracking. It supports the detection of gestures such as clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, as well as hand movement directions, enabling intuitive, touchless user interaction. Based on Microchip’s patented GestIC® technology, the sensor utilizes electric near-field sensing combined with an advanced 3D signal processing unit to accurately recognize hand gestures within an effective detection range of 0–10 cm. It is well suited for interactive art installations, smart lighting control, and creative human–machine interface projects.
