Gravity: Flexible Piezo Film Vibration Sensor

SKU: SEN0209

This Arduino-compatible piezo film vibration sensor includes flexible piezo film and a converter board. It detects vibration, flexibility, impact, touch, strong shocks, and slight vibrations. With a universal Gravity 3Pin plug-and-play interface, it has Digital/Analog outputs for diverse uses. An on-board potentiometer adjusts sensitivity (output threshold), and its wide dynamic range (0.001Hz~1000MHz) ensures excellent performance.

    FAQ

    • Thinking about installing these on the drive motors on a manufacturing line to determine if bearings are bad or motor brushes are wearing. basically I would set up a good/warn/eminent failure value and alert. anyone out there using these in a similar way? and input is appreciated.

Have you considered the life span this sensor would have if put it in this environment? Would this motor or bearings damage the film is the vibration is too big?
