CMPS09 Tilt Compensated Magnetic Compass Module

SKU: SEN0072

The CMPS09 is a tilt-compensated compass that uses a 3-axis magnetometer, a 3-axis accelerometer, and a powerful 16-bit processor to eliminate heading errors caused by PCB tilt. It outputs bearing data in the range of 0–3599 (representing 0–359.9°) or 0–255. Magnetic field data on the x, y, and z axes, along with pitch and roll values, are used to calculate the bearing and are also available in raw form. The module operates from a 3.3–5 V power supply with a typical current consumption of 25 mA, and supports serial, I²C, and PWM interfaces for bearing output.
