BNO055 is an intelligent 9-axis Absolute Orientation Sensor IC in SiP (System in Package). It integrates a triaxial 14-bit accelerometer, triaxial 16-bit gyroscope, triaxial geomagnetic sensor, and 32-bit MCU. With 5.2×3.8×1.1mm size, it’s smaller than comparable solutions and the smallest Windows 8.1-compatible sensor hub now. It provides single sensor data (accel/gyro/mag) and integrated data (quaternions, Euler angles, vectors). The built-in MCU simplifies algorithm processing, ideal for smartphones and wearables.
