The 8x8 RGB LED Matrix Module (DFRobot) solves the issue of complex driving for 8x8 RGB matrices. It uses SPI (3-wire, hardware SPI) for easy control, reducing pin usage and software complexity. Daisy-chainable vertically/horizontally for large screens, with high-speed transmission boosting refresh rate. Includes RGB matrix and controller, supports Arduino, has a helpful library. Note: 7-color display, max 3x3 cascade.
