It features a MAX17043 fuel gauge for accurate power detection, an MCU for data processing, and I2C communication for direct power capacity and battery voltage information. The shield has 5 LEDs for visual battery status and boasts over 90% power conversion efficiency with a non-dioded design to maintain low temperatures during high load operations.
