For users who use the Arduino Servo library, explain that the motor is controlled through PPM signal: 1 µ s resolution, 500-2500 µ s pulse width corresponding to clockwise/stop/counterclockwise intervals, and 500Hz PWM frequency. It is also pointed out that the embedded control chip will reduce the actual motor voltage and speed, which is used to guide learning and selection step by step from Docs → Tutorials → Projects → SKU → Category.

Library

The motor uses the Servo library which is included in the Arduino IDE.

  • PPM signal resolution: 1us
  • PPM signal pulse width range: 500us-2500us
  • Clockwise pulse width range: 500us-1400us (500us speed maximum)
  • Stop pulse width range: 1400us-1600us
  • Anticlockwise pulse width range: 1600us-2500us (2500us speed maximum)
  • PWM frequency: 500 Hz.

Principle

The embedded control chip will consume a small amount of the input voltage, therefore the motor voltage will be slightly reduced. The motor speed will also be slightly slower than the rated motor speed.
