The Gravity: I2C to Dual UART Module is designed to expand the number of available UART ports on controller boards like Arduino and Raspberry Pi, offering a solution for applications requiring multiple UART connections. With independent configurations for baud rate, word length, and check format, this module supports up to 8 hardware serial ports through multiple connections, making it ideal for use with IoT modules, ultrasonic ranging, and GPS modules. Its 256-byte FIFO hardware buffer for each UART ensures efficient data transmission, and with a data transmission rate of up to 1Mbps and a communication rate of 2Mbps, it caters to projects with strict timing requirements, such as IR receiver modules and WS2818 RGB projects.
