This guide provides a step-by-step process for first-time users on connecting a lithium battery to an expansion module, including securing the back cover using small screws.
When using for the first time, you need to connect the battery manually.
- 1.Connect the lithium battery to the expansion module using the power cable.

- 2.Arrange the battery wiring neatly, then secure the back cover of the expansion module using four small screws.

Offline Deployment
If Wi-Fi remote data transmission is not required, you can use the offline mode directly.
- Take the Lark Weather Station Pro to an open outdoor location and press the power button at the bottom of the expansion module. The station will automatically record data such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind speed, wind direction, longitude, latitude, altitude, remaining battery level, and battery voltage into an internal CSV file.

-
If the Lark Weather Station Pro is powered on indoors, it will not be able to receive satellite signals. In this case, the stored data will lack longitude, latitude, and altitude information, but all other functions will remain unaffected.
-
For instructions on how to configure the sampling frequency and other settings for the Lark Weather Station, refer to this tutorial: Lark Weather Station Function Description.
Note: When connecting the Lark Weather Station Pro to a computer for configuration or data export, make sure to turn off the power at the bottom of the expansion module. Failing to do so may result in configuration failures or data loss.
-
After data collection is complete, first turn off the power at the bottom of the expansion compartment. Connect the computer to the Type-C interface of the weather station, and a USB drive will pop up on the computer.

- Open the USB drive, locate the latest CSV file, and open it to view the recorded data.
