Gravity: IR Positioning Camera For Arduino

SKU: SEN0158

This IR Positioning Camera is a small-form device that can track 4 IR objects simultaneously. It also functions as a flame sensor, detecting heat sources and flame positions. Applications include robot navigation (tracking IR transmitters), light barriers, and object direction determination. Easy to install/connect: only 4 wires (2 for power, 2 for I2C).

    FAQ

    • Can I get a similar sensor with greater resolution and field of view? I am expecting the specifications of good quality web-cam. If not can you tell me where I can buy ?
      Thank you.

I want to track the position of stream of hot plastic (molten) about 175C or 350F, will this unit respond to such temperatures? Also, I am new to I2C protocol, can you provide detailed information on data addressing to this unit?

    • Hi! Can this camera work with Arduino Due (3.3V signal levels)?

HI, we haven't tested it on DUE, It is better to add a resistor between IIC interface.

    • What is the thread size on the SEN0158 part?
      It is M18.
    • In the manual, it mentions that the horizontal detecting angle is 33 degrees, while the vertical detecting angle is 23 degrees. How do I differentiate which is horizontal and which is vertical?
