VLS-H5 Underwater 360° Single-Line Scanning LiDAR

VLS-H5 is an underwater 360° single-line LiDAR for pool-cleaning robots, delivering high-precision point cloud data at 6 scans per second for SLAM-based mapping, localization, and obstacle avoidance. Its hardware and software anti-ambient-light design boosts tolerance from 100 KLux to 160 KLux, keeping perception stable even under strong sunlight. In clear water it detects beyond 5 m and covers over 78 m² per scan, while in turbid water (NTU ≤ 4) it still reaches ≥1.5 m; with algorithmic compensation, accuracy is better than 3 cm for drift-free navigation. The compact 75 × 52 × 53 mm module offers IPX8 waterproofing for continuous operation down to 4 m depth, and uses corrosion-resistant, scratch-resistant, UV-resistant materials for reliable long-term integration in open hardware robotic projects.
