Gravity: Analog Water Pressure Sensor

SKU: SEN0257

This is the DFRobot Gravity SEN0257 Analog Water Pressure Sensor, featuring a 3-pin Gravity interface. It supports 5V input and 0.5~4.5V linear voltage output, compatible with Arduino controllers. With the Gravity IO Expansion Shield, it plugs into Arduino wiring-free. It helps diagnose water presence and pressure, ideal for smart home, IoT, and device detection. Pair with other sensors (e.g., solenoid valve) to build smart water control systems.

    FAQ

    • Can I extend/shorten the sensor wiring by myself?

Yes you can. However, please use a high quality extension cord, too long or poor quality wire may cause partial pressure, resulting in inaccurate sensor reading.

    • Are these pressure transducers available in any other pressure ranges? I bought two of these for my pool and stupidly forgot to check the pressure range. The pool only operates at about 200Kpa but the sensor shown is rated at 2Mpa so I'll only be able to use about 10% of the full scale reading. I can use them, but I'd obviously get better resolution from an appropriately rated transducer.

So, are any other pressure ranges available?

I see that the pressure sensor is IP68 rated. Is this applicable for the whole sensor or only the front threaded section?
(I need to submerged the sensor - if not fully ip68 rated I need to seal it completely, except for the front threaded side)
