The HUSKYLENS 2 WiFi Module is a dedicated wireless expansion accessory designed exclusively for the HUSKYLENS 2 AI vision sensor. It operates as a plug-and-play USB device, seamlessly equipping the sensor with high-speed, stable Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. This upgrade is pivotal, transforming the HUSKYLENS 2 from a wired peripheral into an intelligent, wireless node. Key capabilities unlocked by this module include real-time wireless image and data transmission, direct integration with Large Language Models (LLMs) as a perceptual front-end, and simplified remote device management. Installation Instructions

Unscrew the four corner screws on one side of the HUSKYLENS 2 casing.

Separate the metal casing from the PCB. The thermal grease in the middle is slightly adhesive, so you may need to apply gentle force to detach it.

Insert the WiFi module into the slot. Once properly installed, the outer edge of the WiFi module should be nearly flush with the raised structure on the casing.
Note: Do not press or pull the conductive foam on the surface of the WiFi module, as this may affect its RF antenna performance.

Reattach the metal casing and tighten all four screws.

If the thermal grease is damaged during separation, discard the damaged grease and apply the spare thermal grease included in the package to cover the central chip on the mainboard.
Make sure to apply it to the same area shown in the reference image.
If the original thermal grease is intact, do not apply the spare one.
