Before You Start

Complete the following setup before connecting the seeMote Cap or running the sample app.

Required Hardware

1. An Apple Vision Pro
2. A Mac that supports the required macOS and Xcode versions
3. A seeMote Cube.
4. A USB-C data cable.

Charge the seeMote Cube

Before first use, fully charge the seeMote Cube.

1. Connect the seeMote Cube to a USB power source using a USB-C cable.
2. Check the status indicator to confirm that the device is charging.
3. Disconnect the cable when charging is complete.

Note: If the seeMote Cube cannot be powered on, charge it for at least 10 minutes before trying again.

Update Apple Vision Pro

1. Update Apple Vision Pro to visionOS 27 SDK.
2. After the update, open Settings → General → About.
3. Confirm that the installed visionOS version meets the requirement.

Prepare the Mac

1. Update the Mac to a macOS Beta version compatible with Xcode Beta.
2. Install Xcode Beta.
3. In Xcode, confirm that the visionOS 27 SDK or later is installed.

Open and Configure the Project

1. Download the sample app from the seeMote Cube GitHub repository: seeMoteViewer Cube
2. Open the project in Xcode.
3. Select the app target, then open Signing & Capabilities.
4. Select your Apple Developer team.
5. Set a unique Bundle Identifier.

Enable Developer Mode

Enable Developer Mode in the Apple Vision Pro developer settings. Restart the device if prompted.

Pair Apple Vision Pro with the Mac

1. Sign in to the Mac and Apple Vision Pro using the same Apple ID.
2. Connect both devices to the same network.
3. Open Xcode on the Mac.
4. Open Window → Devices and Simulators.
5. Select Apple Vision Pro and follow the instructions shown in Xcode and on the device.
6. Confirm that Apple Vision Pro appears in the Xcode run destination menu.

Note

For early adopters, if you encounter an error such as “Unable to load accessory” after launching the seeMoteViewer app, please update the seeMote Cube firmware to resolve the issue: View the firmware update guide.
