Firmware Update

The current latest system version is 1.2.1. Go to System Settings - Device Information to check the current system version. It is recommended to update to the latest version to access new features.

1.Latest Version

Latest HUSKYLENS 2 Firmware:HUSKYLENSV2v1.2.1

• Supports multi-model mode, allowing up to 3 models to run simultaneously
• Added new models : Eye Gaze detection, Orientation detection, and Fall detection.
• Added APIs for screen drawing, parameter configuration, photo capture, music playback, etc.
• Added more MCP tools; all APIs in the communication protocol now support MCP calls
• Image transmission supports self-trained models; added WebRTC image transmission method with latency reduced to within 200ms (directly accessible via browser)
• Supports Chinese-language self-trained model installation packages
• After inserting a WiFi module and connecting to the network, K10/M10/computers can wirelessly access Huskylens data, automatically detect time zones, and update system time
• Optimized models fo Hand Recognition, Object Classification, QR code recognition, and Barcode recognition to improve accuracy and stability

MindPlus Graphical HUSKYLENS 2 Library Version:

Click "Extensions" , select "User-Ext".Enter "huskylens 2" in the User Library, search for and select HUSKYLENS 2 graphical library. Version needs to be greater than or equal to 0.1.9.

2.Firmware Update Tutorial

• Download and extract the above firmware image file. After extraction, the firmware file has a .img extension, as shown in the figure below.

  For the K230 Burning Tool on MacOS or Linux, please download via this GitHub release

• Click to download the driver installation tool：Zadig - Driver Installation Tool

• Power off HUSKYLENS 2. Hold down Button-A of HUSKYLENS 2, then power it on. Release the button 2 seconds post-power-on. On first use, the following device may appear in Device Manager.

• Open Zadig, select K230, and install the driver.

• Open the firmware burning tool - K230 BurningTool.exe, Please back up the contents of the HUSKYLENS USB flash drive system before buring firmware as all contents will be erased after updating the firmware.

• Open the configuration interface, click "Start", and restart HUSKYLENS 2 after success.
