Gravity: Analog Sound Sensor

SKU: DFR0034

This is our updated version of the Analog Sound Sensor. Analog Sound Sensors are typically used in detecting the ambient loudness in your enviroment. The Arduino can collect its output signal by imitating the input interface. You may use it to make some fun interactive projects such as a voice operated switch.

    FAQ

    • I can't find the decoder ring, that defines the pins for J1, pins 1,2 and 3. Below you indicate the middle pin is Vcc. The schematic indicates the middle in J1 pin 2 as ground. The cable is very nice. It has black, red as middle and blue. Could you define the colors for (gnd, output and Vcc), please.

Hi, this is an analog sensor, have you checked the connection? The middle one is VCC-5V.

    • Hi, how can I convert the output to Decibel?

Audio analyzer is frequency divider, The sound is broken down into seven frequency bands. You could have a try.
