Introduction
The OLED module can be used to provide visual effect for users, which is easy to view experiment results. The module provides preset information display of 8 different modules, so users can switch to the corresponding number to see by the on-board button. It's commonly used in applications such as heart rate monitor, temperature and humidity monitor, PH detection, soil humidity detection and conductivity switch. In our daily life, the OLED module will be used for eletric devices like TV, computers, washing machine, automobiles, and gauges.

Usage Description
8 different display modes are preset in the OLED module for displaying data of various modules. Switch to the corresponding module number via the button to view data.
Label | Name | Function | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1 | i4 | Light sensor | The output value increases as the intensity of light rises |
2 | i11 | Temperature sensor | Ambient temperature sensor |
3 | i12 | Conductivity switch | On/off of the switch |
4 | i16 | Soil moisture sensor | The output value increases as the soil moisture rises |
5 | i17 | pH sensor | The output value increases as the liquid alkalinity rises or the acidity decreases |
6 | i18 | Humidity sensor | The output value increases as air humidity rises |
7 | i19 | Waterproof temperature sensor | Ambient temperature |
8 | i20 | Heart rate sensor | Heart rate |
Connect all parts according to the figure below, power up, after powering on, press the button to switch to humidity sensor, then you can check the air humidity.
Principle
The OLED module collects the information output from other modules, then converts to the content that can be displayed on the OLED, by which to realize the visualization of information. It's designed with a bezel that can protect the display from breaking and prevent its glass edge from scratching your fingers.
Application
(1) Heart Rate Monitor (Non-programming)
Description: Monitor human heart rate using the heart rate sensor and OLED module. (Attention: switch to the number of the heart rate sensor "i20".
Components: Heart Rate Monitor Sensor; OLED Module, Mainboard-3IO

(2) The effect of light intensity on plant growth
Description: Place two same plants in different light environment respectively, use the light sensor to detect the light intensity of the environments and read the light value via the OLED module(press the button to switch to light sensor number "i4"). Thus, we can see the plant growth under different light intensities and try finding out the most suitable light intensity for the growth of a certain plant.
Components: Light sensor; OLED module; Mainboard-3IO

(3) Detect the conductivity of objects (non-programming)
Description: Connect an object to the conductivity switch, check if the object is conductive on OLED module (Switch to the conductivity sensor number "i12").
Components: Conductivity switch; wires; OLED module, Mainboard-1IO

(4) The effects of various soil moisture on seed germination
Description: sow seeds of the same kind and quantity into two planter boxes. Monitor the soil moisture of the two boxes on OLED module (switch to the soil moisture sensor number "i16")。 Keep the soil moisture in them always different and record the seed germination under different moisture levels.
Components: Soil moisture sensor; OLED module; Mainboard-1IO

(5) Investigation on soft drink (non-programming)
Description: Detect the pH of several different types of soft drink with pH sensor and monitor the result on the OLED module (switch to the pH sensor sensor number "i17").
Components: pH sensor; OLED module; Mainboard-1IO
